Being our first Truffle season we thought it only right that we announce the date for our first Truffle Degustation evening! And trust us, this is not something that you are going to want to miss out on!

For those of us that love fresh truffle there is literally no substitute! The experience that they evoke with their deep and earthy perfume is something that can barely put into words, yet enhances any menu. So given that the Australian Truffle season is so short (May-August) we thought that we’d better make a big deal out of it!

So here we go!

One of our favourite things about writing this menu was that unlike past wine dinners, where we have worked with a single producer and their wines to build the menu around, this time we were able to take this opportunity to showcase some really diverse and interesting drops. What’s more, for this night only we are only pouring Magnums from the hills of France, Italy and Spain! It’s certainly shaping up as a ‘go big or go home’ event!

This menu is a mix of old and new techniques, not only celebrating classic European truffle dishes but also more modern and adventurous expressions from our talented kitchen team. Each course has a truffle element and on certain courses additional fresh truffle will be hand shaved over each dish and as always, Head Chef Chris Harrington will be on hand to walk you through each dish, answer any questions and satisfying all curiosities.

There has already been a huge amount of interest in this event and seats will be very limited so bookings are essential.
